Hornucopia has been around since the mid teens and I joined in ‘22. It’s been a fun ride. I personally never plyed any early Chicago and certainly no Blood, Sweat, and Tears so I was eager to give it shot. Learning Chicago tunes is a challenge to say the least and Blood, Sweat and Tears isn't a cakewalk either. They both involve a mix of well orchestrated parts and intense improvisation. It's been great working with so many talented people.
This is a performance video of us at Heart of the City Music Factory in Anoka, MN in 2025. It was a sold out show and we covered a lot of Chicago and Blood, Sweat and Tears hits along with a few others. It's a great intimate venue with wonderful acoustics and a big stage for nine musicians.
